Our family support service is coordinated and delivered by a committed team of practitioners who have extensive training, experience and expertise in supporting families.

 

Michelle Jones

Manager

Michelle joined the team in January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in business management and operations to the team, as well as experience working with vulnerable children. Michelle manages the team and works with the trustees to develop and deliver the Strategic Plan. She considers working for ‘good’ and supporting families to be a privilege and a great responsibility.

Michelle is originally American, has two young children, is a competitive gymnast and describes herself as a cake enthusiast.

Sassi Stuckey-Beeri

Head of Fundraising

Sassi joined the team bringing over 18 years of experience in the third sector, with expertise in fundraising, supporter care, communications, and partnership building. Sassi works with staff, trustees, and volunteers to deliver fundraising plans, build strong partnerships, and grow Home-Start’s impact across Epsom, Ewell and Banstead.

Sassi grew up in Hungary, is married to a half Filipino, half British, and has two young boys. She loves travelling, creativity, writing, and playing instruments, and is also a licensed Methodist local preacher.

Jocelyn Dorrell

Administrator/Finance Assistant

Jocelyn joined HSEEB in August 2025 and enjoys supporting the Staff and Trustee Team with a broad range of work; including event planning, compliance and writing HSEEB’s quarterly newsletter.

Hayley Ronald

Family Support Lead

Hayley volunteered for Home-Start from 2009 and became a family support coordinator in 2012 following her career in Early Years. Hayley enjoys seeing the positive impact Home-Start’s support has on the lives of children and their parents. She has two grown up children and two grandsons. She enjoys walking, girls’ weekends, and chasing her lively older grandson around.

Lesley Lane

Over 5’s Parenting/SEND Service Lead

Lesley’s background is in Primary School Teaching. She worked for over 10 years for a Sure Start Children Centre, supporting both parents and children and specialising in Positive Parenting strategies.

She then taught for 2 years at a Special Needs Education Centre before joining the Home-Start team.  Lesley is the Over 5s Coordinator, offering 1 to 1 support, workshops and courses to support families struggling with their children’s behaviour.

Claire Stevens

Perinatal Service Lead

Claire joined the team in September 2022.  She has supported families across multiple contexts and is delighted to now be running the Perinatal Service at HSEEB.  Claire is a proud single Mum to two boys.

Tracey Cobb

Senior Family Coordinator – Volunteer Recruitment and Training

Tracey joined the HSEEB in February 2023 after two years as a home visiting volunteer. Tracey loves supporting families and seeing the difference HSEEB can make to their lives. She has a background as a teaching assistant and accountant.

Tracey is a keen runner and has four children of her own.

Emma Finch

Perinatal Coordinator

Emma joined the HSEEB team in late 2025 as Perinatal Coordinator, having worked at Bookham Baptist Children’s Centre as a Family Support Worker. Her focus is on providing perinatal groups in the Mole Valley area.

One of Emma’s favourite places to be is the library (or on the sofa with a good book) and has two children of her own.

Becky Browne

Family Support Coordinator

Becky has a wealth of experience in Early Years and child development. She is a qualified practitioner in Therapeutic Play Coaching, Developmental Play, Baby Massage, Baby Yoga and Childrens Yoga as well as various Early Years Qualifications.

She is passionate about supporting children and families, helping to promote wellbeing and positive development through a caring and holistic approach.

As a parent of two children at secondary school, Becky also brings valuable personal understanding of family life alongside her professional experience.
