Home-Start Epsom Ewell and Banstead is an independent charity with Trustees being responsible for directing the management and administration of the charity. Trustees have a wide range of roles but are primarily responsible for making the charity effective, providing overall direction and maintaining sound management of funds. Chair of Trustees
Briony feels privileged to be the Chair of Trustees. She has been a Trustee since 2017. Following a diverse career in the care sector she bring over 13 years’ experience of developing and running services. Briony is passionate about early help and the difference we can make to the lives of families in Surrey.
Tony has been part of the team since 2012. Tony oversaw the implementation of the Charity Log database and remains an important source of support to the staff. He is actively involved with many of the Home-Start Surrey schemes in this capacity.
Nic joined the board of Trustees in February 2017. Nic has been able to use some of his professional experience gained working for banks and financial software companies, at HSEEB, supporting the set up and use of Social Media and improving the technology infrastructure at the office.
Richard joined the committee in July 2018. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role from his job as a fundraiser for Crisis.
Liz has been a trustee since January 2018. Liz’s role as a business developer for Barclays makes her an invaluable asset to the committee, especially from a funding and strategy perspective.
