Our annual Golf Day will take place on Wednesday 25th September at Surrey Downs, Kingswood, KT20 6JS.
Refreshments – Coffee and bacon rolls will be available in the Clubhouse from 8am with tee off booked for 9am. A carvery lunch will be served at 2pm. Drinks before and after lunch are not included in the entry price.
Format – Shot gun start with teams of four players. Stableford scoring off full handicap with gentlemen off the yellow tees and ladies off the red tees. Best two scores counting at each hole, and players are encourage to pick up when appropriate to speed up play. Where there are teams of just three, each player will take a turn to play two balls to count, or not – the order where a player hits two tees shots to be agreed before the first tee shots.
In the past the club has given us a member of their team as our ‘link’ for the day and will have team cards with tee numbers with a small plan attached to the card to show the route to your team’s starting tee. Please hand in your team card following the completion of your round and the score will be displayed on the screen in the lounge.
Cost – £75 (This to include a voluntary donation per player allowing Home-Start to claim Gift Aid. Forms will be provided). Mulligans available for £5 before you go out and to be used from any tee.
Equipement – If you require a buggy, one can be reserved at time of booking but it needs to be paid for on the day by those requiring them.
