Soundbytes choir raised an incredible £1800 for Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead at their eagerly anticipated summer concert on Friday 10 July.

In the midst of a heatwave, it was a full house at Manor House School in Bookham for Soundbytes’ summer concert, with entry by donation to HSEEB.

Audience members enjoyed an an uplifting medley of summer songs, performed by two supremely talented choirs and a wonderful solo pianist.

HSEEB’s chair of trustees, Briony Thomas, addressed the audience to describe the fantastic work Home-Start does in the local community via our network of trained volunteers and expert staff, who help families with young children through their most challenging times – working with parents when they need us the most.

The concert’s feel-good music and pitch-perfect harmonies – featuring pop hits from the 70s, 80 90s and 00s – had guests tapping their feet all evening, and the community spirit on display meant smiles all round at the end of the night.

We are incredibly grateful to Soundbytes for choosing us as their charity for their wonderful summer concert, and extend heartfelt thanks for the Soundbytes audience members for their generous donations, which will help support the life-changing work that Home-Start volunteers and staff deliver in our local community.
