£27,741 – £31,346 FTE (+£874 FTE Fringe Allowance)
(Scale Point SO1/23 to SO2/27 dependent on experience)
Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families and children. Staff and Volunteers offer regular support including emotional and practical help to families in their own homes and within the community. We are seeking to recruit a part-time Senior Family Coordinator to plan and deliver a new exciting project. They will be responsible to the Manager, a self starter, able to project lead as well as develop excellent relationships with other support organisations. They will have extensive knowledge and experience of supporting parents ante and post-natally and be focussed on developing positive, secure attachments and improving the emotional wellbeing of both parents and young babies. They will be trained in Parent/Infant Observation and Baby Massage as well as having relevant training and experience of supporting families during the perinatal period. Sensitivity and excellent communication skills are essential. They should understand and be committed to the role of the voluntary sector, be able to work in a small team, and demonstrate the ability to work flexibly. Use of a car (expenses paid) is necessary. An enhanced disclosure check will be required. This is initially a two year post with the possibility of extension dependent on funding.
