A Fantastic Night of Fun & Fundraising: Charity Quiz Night Recap!

What an incredible evening! Our recent HSEEB Quiz Night was a roaring success, bringing together local supporters, trustees, staff, and volunteers for a night of friendly competition, great food, and community spirit.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone who attended, we raised a grand total of £1,449.85! Every penny raised goes directly toward supporting HSEEB’s mission and services in our community.

Highlights from the Evening

• Brilliant Brainteasers: A huge thank you to our Quiz Master, Simon who generously donated his time and kept the room entertained with a fantastic variety of questions.

• Delicious Treats: Guests enjoyed hot pizzas supplied by Village Pizza, alongside an amazing spread of homemade cakes donated by our wonderful volunteers.

• Raffle Success: Thanks to dedicated prize collection efforts across Leatherhead and Ashtead, we had a fantastic lineup of raffle prizes. Mary and Sassi did a wonderful job running the live draw, which was a hit with the crowd.

• A Fully Stocked Bar: Thanks to generous drink donations, our bar kept everyone refreshed throughout the night!

• A True Team Effort: From smooth guest arrivals to behind-the-scenes bar management and venue setup, our trustees (Briony, Simon, Jayne, and Richard), staff (Michelle, Hayley, Sassi, and Tracey), and volunteers (Mary and Jenny) worked tirelessly to make the night run smoothly.

Special Thanks to Our Supporters

• Our Quiz Master for donating his time and talent to host the night.

• The Leg Pub for their generous alcohol donation to support the bar.

• Asda Burgh Heath Supercentre for kindly donating soft drinks for our attendees.

• Our Trustees & Volunteers who stepped up to donate additional drinks to ensure the bar was fully stocked.

• Local Businesses in Ashtead & Leatherhead who donated generous raffle prizes.

• Our Dedicated Volunteers & Bakers who made setup, prep, and dessert so seamless and sweet.
