Hop Onboard for Local Families: Join the Home-Start Bus Challenge!

As we prepare to mark our 30th Anniversary this December, Home-Start Epsom, Ewell & Banstead (HSEEB) is inviting local businesses, venues, and community groups to get involved in an easy, fun, and impactful fundraiser: The Home-Start Bus Challenge!

Whether you run a local pub, cafe, or shop, or want to get your workplace involved, hosting a Bus Challenge board is a brilliant way to bring people together while raising crucial funds for parents and children in our community.

How the Bus Challenge Works

The Bus Challenge is a quick, effortless counter-top raffle that anyone can host:

• The Setup: We supply you with a poster featuring a grid of 96 bus stop squares.
• The Entry: Customers, colleagues, or friends pick their favourite stops and buy squares for £3.00 each.
• The Prize: One lucky winner takes home a £100 cash prize!
• The Impact: Selling a full board raises £288 total. After awarding the £100 prize, £188 net goes directly to supporting Home-Start.

This year, your Bus Challenge fundraising goes twice as far!

If you complete your board and submit your £188 proceeds online to our Big Give Christmas Challenge page by Monday, 8th December, your donation will be matched 1:1—turning your £188 into £376 for local families in need!

Key Deadlines for Organizers

• Sunday, 1st December: Complete your challenge by selling all 96 squares.
• Monday, 2nd December (Draw Date): Cut out the completed bus stop squares, place them in a hat, and randomly draw the £100 winner!
• By Monday, 8th December: Submit your net proceeds (£188) online via our Big Give page so match funding doubles your contribution!
