Referrals for FAMILY SUPPORT
We are continuing our services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We are able to consider new referrals for FAMILY SUPPORT.
HSEEB staff and volunteers will at all times follow Government guidance on Covid-19.
Updated Guidance can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Our services continue to fit into the exceptions
Support will be delivered by staff or trained volunteers and consist of telephone calls, texts offering emotional support and signposting to other support organisations and sources of advice, or families may be offered 1:1 or group online sessions. When restrictions allow Outside Visits will take place at an accessible outside space e.g. local park. When restrictions allow Inside Visits will take place at COVID Secure Venues within the community. For a small number of families and in exceptional circumstances families may receive home visiting, again this is dependent on current local/national restrictions. All these visits must be risk assessed and individual consent be gained by HSEEB.
If you are a professional and would like to refer a family please contact Hazel Davies – Scheme Manager via email manager@hseeb.org.uk. You will be able to discuss the needs of the family and a decision will be made jointly as to the appropriateness of a referral to HSEEB for support. A referral form will be emailed to you and once we have received this we will discuss the family at our weekly allocation meeting. We will then inform you if we are able to provide the support, what type of support and who will be providing this.
Please note that we may need to change the support provided if local or national restrictions change.
To discuss a family for referral FAMILY SUPPORT please contact: Hazel Davies – Scheme Manager via email manager@hseeb.org.uk
About our office
Staff continue to work from home and will continue to offer support to families. The office may open for limited activities as restrictions allow and visitors are on an ‘invitation only’ basis to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
